Floortex mats are highly cost-effective solutions for the protection of expensive floor coverings such as carpets, real wood and laminated floors. They will save floors from loss of appearance, wear and damage. Floortex offers a wide selection of shapes and sizes to suit your requirements.

Our mats have an embossed upper surface and are usually clear (unless stated) so that the appearance of the underlying floor covering remains visible.

FIRST, CHECK YOUR SURFACE
You will need either gripper backed mats for carpet or smooth back mats for hard floor and very low pile carpets-

PICK THE RIGHT BACKING ... GRIPPER BACKED MATS Use these spiked mats on carpets only. Spiked mats will damage wooden floors and well be damaged by castor chairs if used on hard floors. SMOOTH BACKED MATS For use on hard floors and very low pile carpets. ANTI SLIP BACKING Use on high-gloss floors, eg polished wood, to prevent slippage.
