Logistics is a vital part of the Floortex organisation. Floortex warehouse and logistics resources are based in in Tennessee, USA. Environmentally Responsible
As a responsible manufacturer and distributor of plastic products, Floortex is aware of its responsibilities towards the environment and is committed to reducing plastic waste.
​
Our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, has installed a wind-turbine and more recently a solar farm, the energy from which is used during the manufacture of Floortex chair mats.
​
Floortex consistently reviews its manufacturing processes to ensure that we do everything possible to minimize plastic waste. 50% of our manufacturing site’s energy comes from on-site & external renewable sources and all Floortex manufactured chair mats are fully recyclable.
​
Floortex specializes in the production of Polycarbonate chair mats, and we were the first chair mat manufacturer to use this material. Polycarbonate is incredibly strong and long-lasting, so our customers do not have to discard or update their chair mat as often as with chair mats made from other, less durable materials. This helps to reduce the amount of post-consumer plastic waste which is so damaging to the environment and oceans in particular.
